Zora Neale Hurston was one of the most extraordinary writers of our time.  Her life's dance with the Harlem Renaissance greatly influenced the lives of other great writer's such as, Toni Morrison and Alice Walker. Our lives will forever be indebted to Alice for not forgetting our roots of Zora Neale Hurston.

Join us for the fourth annual reading of her works featuring her niece Lucy Anne Hurston. and the Hurston Family. Zora Neale Hurston’s nephew, Edward Hurston, a musician who has performed at The Apollo Theater in Harlem will be performing the blues harmonica as well. Discussion and Refreshments will be held after the performance. Seating is Limited.
